Borneo Dinawan Island Resort is built in the lush tropical rainforest of Dinawan Island, caressed by the warm gentle water of the South China Sea. This Resort of premier status is only 15 minutes by boat from Kinarut jetty which is 6km from Kota Kinabalu International Airport and 12km from the Kota Kinabalu City Centre.

The Resort is built with minimum disturbance to the natural environment. It is a truly hideaway that provides a relaxing atmosphere. You may listen to the squawking of hornbills or catch a glimpse of them flying through the trees and watch the majestic view of Mt. Kinabalu in the morning, the highest mountain in South East Asia.

Our Resort features studio-type deluxe, detached and semi-detached chalets which are located by the seaside with sandy beaches and hills.

The Hornbill Restaurant & Fisherman Lounge which overlook the beach provides cocktails, beverages and snacks also serves BBQ, Buffet and Hawkers menu. Basic amenities are available at our convenient store.

The Dinawan Hall is a multi-purpose hall for various function which can accommodate about 100 persons at any one time.

The Resort also provides activities such as Snorkeling, Canoeing, Mangrove River Cruise, Island Hopping, Fishing and Jungle trekking. Our lounge provides Night Entertainment and Indoor Activities.
